ǂa Presentation format |
The format used in the production of a projected image (e.g., Cinerama, IMAX). RDA 3.17, Projection Characteristic of Motion Picture Film, explicitly limits this to the presentation format of actual motion picture film. Presentation format, which is treated in RDA 3.17.2 and recorded here, should not be confused with aspect ratio, which is treated in RDA 7.19 and is recorded most commonly in field 500. This subfield should not be used for any video format. For a list of RDA-controlled terms, see RDA Presentation Format.
