Executive Director, Shared Services
Gene oversees teams responsible for enterprise applications including ERP, CRM and collaboration, data technologies, and platform tools and services for internal and external use. Gene joined OCLC in 1984, holding positions of increasing technical expertise and responsibility. Since 1993, Gene has held several key leadership roles in network engineering, systems support, operations and software development.
Gene is active in the central Ohio IT community, participating in the Columbus CIO Forum. Gene is on the Board of the Dublin Chamber of Commerce, currently serving as president of the board. In addition, he has served as adjunct faculty at Franklin University.
Gene holds an MBA from Ohio University and a bachelor's degree in Music Education, with studies in Computer and Information Science and Business, from The Ohio State University.
