WebJunction E-Learning Advisory Committee named
DUBLIN, Ohio, USA, 24 March 2006—WebJunction, the online community dedicated to supporting the library management and computing needs of library staff, has named members of its E-Learning Advisory Committee.
Committee members will meet three times each year to provide hands-on guidance and feedback at the policy level on WebJunction's learning programs and services. These programs and services include online courses and education, just-in-time tools for library tasks, competency-based assessments, tailored learning plans, and solutions for e-learning providers.
"E-Learning is a key component of WebJunction," said George Needham, Vice President, OCLC Member Services. "We're confident that this group of library leaders will ensure that the e-learning courses, tools and solutions WebJunction offers will address the current and future needs of library staff in this dynamic technological environment."
