Craig Milberg

Craig Milberg is the University Librarian for Willamette University in Salem, Oregon. Previously he was Assistant Director for Discovery Systems at Davidson College where he led the library’s efforts to become one of the first adopters of a cloud based integrated library system. Prior to working in higher education, he held a number of library, IT, and project management roles at an international investment bank and worked as a research chemist. Craig's professional interests include the implementation and integration of cloud-based library systems, the role of library services including archives and special collections in the digital liberal arts curriculum, assessment of library services, and open access publishing. He has been an active member of the Lever Press Management Committee and the Orbis Cascade Alliance Board and is an Associate Director of the Measuring Information Service Outcomes (MISO) Survey.
