Linda Kopecky

Linda Kopecky has more than 30 years academic libraries experience, including administration, collections management, research services, vendor partnerships, access services, building operations, accessibility issues, EDI advocacy, and more. She has a national reputation in organizational leadership and a strong professional network. Linda is currently Associate Dean of University Libraries, University of Nevada, Reno. Previous positions include Head of Research Services, University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee, Associate Professor of Library Instructional Services, University of Illinois at Springfield, and Assistant Professor & Assistant Documents Librarian, University of Illinois at Chicago. Linda is a two-term (2015-2021) Councilor at Large of the American Library Association, a former Director-at-Large of the Association of College & Research Libraries and Past-President of the Illinois Association of College & Research Libraries. Linda serves on the ALA-APA Salaries and Status of Library Workers Committee and ALA/American Institute of Architects (AIA) Awards for Buildings and Interiors Committee.
