Group purpose The mission of the Music OCLC Users Group (MOUG) is to identify and provide an official means of communication and assistance for those users of the products and services of the Online Computer Library Center, Inc. (OCLC) concerned with music materials in any area of library service, in pursuit of quality music coverage in these products and services. Membership in MOUG is open to all individuals and institutions interested in MOUG's objectives.

MOUG sponsors the Ralph Papakhian Travel Grant, which assists first-time attendees, especially newer members to the profession, by providing assistance toward attending the annual meeting; as well as the MOUG Distinguished Service Award http://www.musicoclcusers.org/award.html to recognize and honor a librarian who has made significant professional contributions to music users of OCLC.
