New record use policy 'WorldCat Rights and Responsibilities for the OCLC Cooperative' effective August 1

A new WorldCat record use policy, developed by a Record Use Policy Council and informed by community input, has been approved by the OCLC Board of Trustees. WorldCat Rights and Responsibilities for the OCLC Cooperative is now in effect.

Membership—working together for the benefit of all

Libraries founded and built the cooperative and member libraries own the cooperative today. The role that OCLC members play in the guidance, health and growth of the organization cannot be overstated. Put simply, everything OCLC does is intended to provide increased value for its members.

Research
