Features and benefits

At launch, the database contains 2.28 million full-text biographies on 1.3 million individuals. In addition to the digitization, full-text articles, WBIS Online also provides an index to 30 biographical Archives totaling 5.7 million biographical articles on more than 3.6 million people.
