Public Documents Masterfile assists in doing better research by providing electronic, single search access to the overwhelming majority of United States government publications from 1774 to date. Moreover, Public Documents Masterfile has expanded to become a cumulative source for locating, cataloging, and distributing information provided by government entities from around the world. Currently the database contains over 4,000,000 records, including resources such as title information for all federal government documents from 1789 to date with SuDocs numbers.
