Chris Stanton

Research Assistant

Chris joined OCLC Research as a Research Assistant in November, 2008. Chris reports to Senior Research Scientist Edward T. O’Neill, Ph.D. His work since joining OCLC has focused on supporting members of the team working on the F.A.S.T. (Faceted Application of Subject Terminology) project. His research interests currently include authority control in the online environment, as well as an interest in various metadata schemas and standards.

Chris holds a B.A. in History from Miami University and will graduate from Kent State University in December, 2009 with a Master’s degree in Library and Information Science.
