This report offers university and research library leaders insights into emerging practices and infrastructures in European research information management (RIM). It examines the role of persistent person and organization identifiers and explores incentives and barriers to their adoption in Finland, Germany, and the Netherlands. By analyzing these national contexts, the report aims to enhance understanding of decision-making dynamics in RIM. The findings help stakeholders navigate evolving infrastructures, address challenges, and leverage opportunities for improved research information management and collaboration across institutions and countries.
