BioOne, a non-profit aggregator of scholarly publications, has expanded its offerings to now include BioOne.2. Like its predecessor, BioOne.2 is a collection of online editions in the fields of organismal and integrative biology, including ecology and the environment.

The BioOne.2 collection consists of 40 high-impact titles, with additional journals planned for joining the collection.  BioOne.2 is available on subscription in combination with the original collection or as a separate offering.

BioOne.2 is an alternative to high-priced commercially-published journals, and provides libraries with an opportunity to enhance their support of research directly.
