Beyond the Silos of the LAMs Collaboration Among Libraries, Archives and Museums
By Diane M. Zorich, Giinter Waibel, Ricky Erway
This report is the result of a program work by OCLC Research to explore the nature of library, archive and museum (LAM) collaborations, to help LAMS collaborate on common services and thus yield greater productivity within their institutions, and to assist them in creating better aligned research environments. It offers a “Collaboration Catalysts” framework that distills nine essential elements of successful collaboration—for LAMs or indeed for any type of multi-stakeholder collaboration. This work is of enduring value to LAMs and its insights remain highly relevant to a wide array of library collaborations today
