Library as Enterprise
Libraries evolve in response to shifting external conditions, strategic priorities, and opportunities. OCLC Research explores how libraries organize internally, engage with their campus or community, and act collectively toward shared goals.
Library leaders discuss responses to the coronavirus pandemic that have impacted library practices and policies and how they anticipate the impact of these changes going forward. The findings will identify a new model library that might emerge as libraries continue to adapt to the new and changing environment.
OCLC Research’s Library Collaboration in RDM project will help academic libraries make strategic choices about sourcing research data management capacities within multi-institutional collaborative arrangements. Many of the project’s findings extend beyond RDM and can help libraries make informed decisions on collaboration in other contexts.
This project seeks to help art libraries identify potential collaborative models between art, academic, and independent research libraries.
