Asistencia de OCLC para la Open Discovery Initiative de NISO

Como organización de contenido neutral, OCLC no publica contenido, pero se enfoca en permitir que las personas que buscan información encuentren recursos a partir de una gran variedad de proveedores en una sola ubicación.

El servicio de WorldCat Discovery de OCLC brinda acceso a un índice central de más de 3100 colecciones de los principales proveedores de contenido de todo el mundo. Los datos de la base de conocimiento de WorldCat y las funciones de enlace permiten vincular los resultados de búsqueda y el contenido con licencia. OCLC se asocia con una gran cantidad de proveedores de contenido para facilitar el contenido mediante el índice central y la base de conocimiento.
