OCLC Research Semi-Annual Highlights of Progress in Support of the RLG Partnership: April-September 2010 Now Available

 
This report summarizes the OCLC Research activities, meetings, events and publications produced over the last six months in support of the RLG Partnership.

During the past six months, OCLC Research and staff from RLG partner institutions have made significant progress toward our goal of shaping new scholarly services, improving operational processes and increasing efficiencies for libraries, archives and museums around the world.

We've organized our efforts around six major themes, including:

  • Mobilizing Unique Materials
  • Metadata Support & Management
  • Infrastructure & Standards Support
  • System-wide Organization
  • User Behavior Studies & Synthesis

This document provides an overview of the various projects that were completed during this timeframe, as well as their related reports, events and webinars. It also describes several new high impact activities that are currently underway and provides a list of upcoming events and webinars.
