Digital Repository Issues Task Force releases final report: The Research Library's Role in Digital Repository Services

 
OCLC Senior Research Scientist Brian Lavoie was a member of the ARL task force.

The report examines the current state of digital repository services, contextualizes them in regard to emerging trends, and provides recommendations regarding opportunities and roles for ARL libraries to shape the future development of digital repositories. The report also includes a horizon analysis that looks ahead to 2015 to forecast directions for change in four aspects of the digital repository environment: library users, technology, library collections and services, and policy.
