xISBN Prototype Service Transitions to Production Environment

The OCLC Research xISBN service moved from prototype to a production environment last week.

The popular xISBN prototype service supplied ISBNs associated with individual intellectual works represented in the OCLC WorldCat database and has been incorporated into a number of other service mash-ups.

Questions about the production xISBN service, including any transition problems should contact xisbn-support@oclc.org for support.

We are a worldwide library cooperative, owned, governed and sustained by members since 1967. Our public purpose is a statement of commitment to each other—that we will work together to improve access to the information held in libraries around the globe, and find ways to reduce costs for libraries through collaboration.
