Herbert Van de Sompel wins OCLC/LITA Kilgour Award

Dr. Van de Sompel, who co-created the SFX linking system and co-founded the Open Archives Initiative, is team leader, Digital Library Research and Prototyping Group, Los Alamos National Laboratories Research Library, and a member of the OCLC Research Advisory Committee. The award honors the achievements of OCLC's founder and recognizes a significant body of "real world" research by the recipient in the field of library and information technology.
