Lorcan Dempsey hosts Herbert Van de Sompel in 26 March satellite videoconference on OAI metadata harvesting

Lorcan Dempsey, vice president, OCLC Research, and Research Advisory Committee member Herbert Van de Sompel led a 26 March satellite videoconference about the open archives metadata harvesting protocol. The videoconference was the first of three dealing with emerging knowledge-sharing standards, sponsored by the OCLC Institute.
