OCLC researchers to speak at conference celebrating a decade of NetLab's digital-library R&D April 10-12
DUBLIN, Ohio, USA, January 30, 2002—NetLab, the research and development department at Lund University Libraries, focuses its activities primarily on digital library and netbased information discovery and retrieval, mainly in Internet/WWW environments. OCLC Research vice president Lorcan Dempsey and research scientists Diane Vizine-Goetz and Stu Weibel will speak at a conference marking the department's first decade. Traugott Koch, NetLab senior librarian for Electronic Information Services, was an OCLC Research visiting scholar in 1997-1998.
