Web growth slowing?

DUBLIN, Ohio, USA, October 30, 2001—At 3.1 million sites and about 36% of the web, the number of public web sites continues to expand, but at a slower rate. The web as a whole grew by 18%, up to an estimated total of nearly 9 million sites.
