6-9 December 2011

Digital Strategies for Heritage (DISH) 2011 is an international conference for everyone who makes or influences decisions touching on the field of cultural heritage (directors and managers of heritage institutions, policy-makers, innovators and researchers). DISH enables participants to learn more about strategic decisions on all aspects of digital heritage, as well as about how their fellow participants are coping with strategy.

If you're attending DISH 2011 feel free to get in touch with Jim with questions or to arrange a time to meet.

Collaboration Within and Across Sectors
Chaired by Jim Michalko, OCLC Research Library Partnership Vice President

Digital heritage services are often built from a specific sectoral perspective. The difference sectors (libraries, archives, and museums) have different perspectives on digitization and digital infrastructures. This session brings together these different perspectives and complements them with the lessons learned of 50 years of digitization activities by a government.
