xISBN Prototype Service Transitions to Production Environment

DUBLIN, Ohio, USA, 19 February 2007—The OCLC Research xISBN service moved from prototype to a production environment last week.

The popular xISBN prototype service supplied ISBNs associated with individual intellectual works represented in the OCLC WorldCat database and has been incorporated into a number of other service mash-ups.
