Jay Jordan announces availability of free FRBR algorithm, at IFLA Annual Conference in Berlin
DUBLIN, Ohio, USA, August 5, 2003—OCLC is making an algorithm available free of charge to organizations interested in converting their bibliographic databases to the Functional Requirements for Bibliographic Records (FRBR) model, in which individual records are brought together under the concept of a work. The algorithm was developed by research staffers Thom Hickey and Jenny Toves.
