The new Connexion macro toolkit allows catalogers to see AI-generated suggestions for Dewey Decimal Classification numbers, Library of Congress Classification numbers, and Library of Congress Subject Headings when creating and editing records—supporting the more efficient completion of work without compromising quality and consistency. This new system bases these intelligent recommendations on WorldCat data, which is built from hundreds of millions of library records, while allowing you full control to accept or ignore suggestions.
This enhancement is a result of cataloger feedback from our pilot study users, who informed the AI model and played an active role in development.
