Michael Levine-Clark

Michael Levine-Clark is the Dean of the University of Denver Libraries, where he has worked in various positions since 1999. Deeply committed to library collaboration, he co-founded the open access journal Collaborative Librarianship, and continues to serve on its editorial board. He has held leadership roles in multiple professional organizations focused on collection development and acquisitions. For his work on e-books and demand-driven acquisition models, he received the 2015 Harrasowitz Leadership in Library Acquisitions Award. He has been active in shared print initiatives and serves on the executive committees of the Western Regional Storage Trust and Rosemont Alliance. Michael also serves on a variety of publisher and vendor library advisory boards and a range of committees within library professional organizations and consortia. He is widely published and has been invited to speak on six continents about trends in academic libraries and scholarly communication.
