What's mine is yours: Collaborating to protect print collections

A 60-minute webinar with librarians from the Maine Shared Collections Cooperative about how the libraries in the state are joining to together and taking steps to ensure that copies of both scholarly and popular content are protected for future use.

Matthew Revitt is the Special Collections and Maine Shared Collections Librarian at the University of Maine. Matthew splits his time between managing the Maine Shared Collections Cooperative shared print program and overseeing the management of archival university records. Matthew is also the Shared Print Consultant for the Eastern Academic Scholars' Trust and has written and spoken widely on shared print. As well as being the moderator for the Print Archive Network Forum, he has served on national shared print committees for OCLC, the HathiTrust, Rosemont, and the Partnership for Shared Book Collections.

Ben Treat is the director of the Bangor (Maine) Public Library, a library of more than 450,000 volumes. The Library serves as an area resource center, providing ILL and reference services to smaller libraries in the region. Ben was previously the director of the libraries of the University of Maine at Augusta.
