Our community presenters and OCLC’s security experts will provide insights, real-world experiences, and practical solutions to help safeguard your library against cybersecurity threats. 

During the webinar, you'll hear Brian Lee of Pierce County Library share his experience in obtaining cybersecurity grants and leading rapid investments to secure networks and data. Followed by Sarah Meilleur and Jim Chisholm of Calgary Public Library discuss their recent experience with a cybersecurity threat, including the nature of the threat, their response, lessons learned from the experience, and recommendations for other public libraries.

OCLC’s security team will discuss common security threats faced by public libraries and offer best practices to protect against them. Lastly, the EZproxy product team will explain how hosted EZproxy can serve as a secure remote access solution for libraries.
