Advanced document-delivery featuresOCLC ILLiad offers the most sophisticated document-delivery service available to libraries. Whether the document is supplied from a library halfway across the world or at your library only, OCLC ILLiad assists you in delivering documents directly to the user's desktop. Odyssey, ILLiad's new integrated document-delivery feature, allows staff to send and receive documents from other ILLiad or Odyssey users. ILLiad can also receive documents sent from Ariel workstations. Staff can then review the document for accuracy and post it to the patron's account with a mouse click. Staff can profile other libraries as “trusted senders,” which will allow incoming Odyssey documents to be sent directly to the patron's Web account without staff intervention. |
