When will DDC 22 be available?
The 22nd edition of the DDC is already available in WebDewey, which is a web-based, enhanced version of the DDC 22 database. In addition to all the expansions and revisions in the new Edition 22 database, WebDewey continues to feature:
- quarterly updates
- thousands of Relative Index terms and built numbers not available in the print version
- Library of Congress Subject Headings (LCSH) that have been intellectually mapped to Dewey numbers by DDC editors and statistically mapped to Dewey numbers from records in WorldCat (the OCLC Online Union Catalog)
- selected mappings from Medical Subject Headings (MeSH)
- links from mapped LCSH to the LCSH authority records
