Why does WebDewey show the number for epilepsy segmented at 616.8/53, but the number 616.85 is listed in Abridged Edition 14 (on p. 583)?

The number for epilepsy is segmented at 616.8 in WebDewey because 616.8 is the number for epilepsy in Abridged Edition 14; epilepsy is in the "including" note at 616.8. The number 616.85 appears in Abridged Edition 14, but it has a more limited scope than its full edition counterpart.

In the full edition, 616.85 is "Miscellaneous diseases of nervous system and mental disorders." In the abridged edition, 616.85 is "Neuroses; speech and language disorders; personality, sexual, gender-identity, impulse-control, factitious, developmental, learning disorders; violent behavior; mental retardation." There are some topics in 616.85 in the full edition that are not included in the more limited definition of 616.85 in the abridged edition, i.e.,  Huntington disease (616.851), epilepsy (616.853), and "Diseases of cranial, spinal, peripheral nerves; diseases of autonomic nervous system" (616.856).  This means that the segmentation mark falls after 616.8 for these topics, but falls after 616.85 for other topics in 616.85, e.g., speech and language disorders (616.855).
