How two libraries cooperate to share science with the public

In Wiener Neustadt, Austria, a scientific library and a public library have joined forces through a unique pilot project. Together, the two libraries form Austria’s first scientific general library.

“Of course, this pioneering pilot project also presents completely new challenges for library administration, which I am convinced we will master with OCLC,” said Josef Wiesler, Managing Director of the FH Wiener Neustadt. “With the official launch of the shared WorldShare Management Services, we have reached the next important milestone in this project.”
