Maria Frahm-Arp
Executive Director: Library and Information Centre, University of Johannesburg

Maria has a PhD from the University of Warwick and is an academic working in the sociology of religion. Her field of interest is Pentecostal Churches in South Africa and she has written two books, several book chapters and numerous articles on the topic. Maria currently works as the Executive Director of the UJ Library and Information Centre and believes that libraries are at the heart of any academic institution. At the UJ Library they have found that the synergy of a director who is an academic and works with a strong body of librarians is enabling them to re-imagine the libraries in the fourth industrial revolution.
