SISIS SunRise Mail™
Ideally, you can generate all SISIS SunRise Circulation letters and messages as e-mails. In addition, individual library circulars can be sent via your Internet provider directly to the addresses of the relevant library users at any time. The e-mail layout is in standard letter format. If a user has two e-mail addresses, the message is sent to the second address as a copy.
You can set parameters to create and send e-mail messages to suit the needs of your library. Messages are sent automatically during the course of the day. For example, reservation and interlibrary loan messages can be sent by e-mail, while overdue notices can continue to be sent by normal post. You can maintain the required e-mail address data using the "Record user data" [Benutzerdatenaufnahme] and "Change user data" [Benutzerdatenänderung] functions in SISIS SunRise Circulation.
For your records, all sent messages can be printed as log files. For e-mails that cannot be sent or for which an error has occurred, you receive a system message and can use this file to trigger a re-send.
With the additional component SISIS SunRise SMS, with which you send reservation and reminder messages by SMS, you have the entire range of Internet technology at your disposal for user information.
