OCLC Eastern, in partnership with SLA, FLICC and ARL, presented The Art of Strategic Persuasion: Essential Skills for Leaders on April 10. Over 82 individuals participated in this exciting one-time event, coming from as far away as Canada to attend.
"The event was outstanding. It's unique topics like this that make me really proud to be a part of OCLC," said attendee John Teskey, Director of Libraries at University of New Brunswick. Teskey serves as a Members Council delegate on behalf of OCLC in Canada.
The two dynamic speakers and teachers—Dr. Susan Miller and Mr. Tom Calcagni—provided invaluable guidance and instruction concerning the art of public speaking and presentation.
