BookLinx Contributes Records to WorldCat

BookLinx, a vendor of Chinese language titles, began contributing MARC records to WorldCat in March 2005.

BookLinx, located in Illinois, provides Chinese language books, audio-visual materials and periodicals to public libraries in the United States.  Other services offered by BookLinx include bookbinding and translation.  To find out more about BookLinx and the services they offer, contact the Managing Director, Ms. Annie Wang at 630-946-4169 or visit their Web site.

Examples of original records contributed by BookLinx to WorldCat are: #58422291 and #58394662.  All records contributed include Chinese vernacular fields, along with Romanized fields.  The language of cataloging is English and LC subject headings are included. When a BookLinx record matches a record already in WorldCat, BookLinx data is added in field 938. Examples of matching records are #57766160 and #57054210. You may search specifically for BookLinx records using the vendor search in the cataloging system (command line search ?vn: blnx? in Connexion).
