Robin Murray

Vice President, Global Product Management

Robin joined OCLC in 2005 and was named Vice President, OCLC Global Product Management in 2007. He leads an international team responsible for delivering the cooperative's enterprise product strategy. In 1999, Robin was appointed Managing Director and CEO of Fretwell-Downing Informatics, which merged with OCLC in 2005.

A thought leader within the information technology arena for more than 15 years, Robin is internationally recognized as an expert in information systems architecture, information integration and digital libraries. He has been a member of the European Expert Group for Libraries, and served on the Board of NISO, the American National Information Standards Organization. Robin also has provided strategic consultancy worldwide for information, education, e-government and information integration systems involving large-scale academic and public organizations and businesses.
