Lorcan Dempsey to Speak as Guest Lecturer at Indiana University Bloomington's 2012 SLIS David Kaser Lecture Series

This lecture will take place at 4:00 p.m. on Friday, 5 October in the School of Informatics and Computing (SoIC) Informatics East, Room 130. It is free and open to the public.

The David Kaser Lecture Series is named in honor of the School of Library and Information Science (SLIS) Distinguished Professor Emeritus David Kaser, who studied, wrote, and taught extensively in the areas of academic libraries, library history, library buildings, and printing. Professor Kaser retired in 1991 after 18 years at SLIS. Lorcan Dempsey, OCLC Vice President, Research, and Chief Strategist, will present "The Research Library: Scalable Efficiency and Scalable Learning" at this year's lecture.
