DUBLIN, Ohio, 30 June 2020—OCLC, the global library technology and research organization based in Dublin, Ohio, has been named among Insider Pro and Computerworld's 2020 Best Places to Work in IT.
This is the 11th year OCLC has been selected as one of Computerworld's top workplaces for information technology (IT) professionals. The honor is part of the IT publication's annual Best Places to Work in IT survey. OCLC placed at number 16 on the 2020 list in the Small Organization Rankings.
"It is an honor for OCLC to be included among Computerworld's 2020 Best Places to Work in IT," said Skip Prichard, OCLC President and CEO. "OCLC staff is committed to our mission to provide the best technologies libraries need to serve their communities. These technologies have helped libraries continue their important work despite closings and other incredible challenges related to the pandemic. Our IT team has continued to develop solutions and kept our systems running for libraries and our teams working from home around the world. That kind of shared commitment from our dedicated staff makes OCLC a great place to work."

Computerworld's annual Best Places to Work in IT feature ranks the top 100 work environments for technology professionals. The list continues to be compiled based on a comprehensive questionnaire regarding company offerings in categories such as diversity, benefits, career development, training and retention. In addition, IDG conducts extensive surveys of IT workers, and their responses factor heavily in determining the rankings. Each year, 100 organizations are selected to receive this award.
