Farrukh Shahzad

Farrukh Shahzad is serving Forman Christian College – A Chartered University, Lahore currently as Chief Librarian. Before joining FCCU, he has also served top academic institutes of Pakistan including Lahore University of Management Sciences and Government College University, Lahore. He has worked internationally as well at Yanbu Industrial College, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia as Library Specialist. Farrukh has a MLIS degree, M. Phil in Information Management along with MBA degree. He has also completed Leadership courses from Lahore University of Management Sciences, Leadership Institute for Academic Librarians, Harvard Graduate School of Education, Harvard University and Mortenson Center Associates Program, University of Illinois, USA. In addition to his role as Chief Librarian at FCCU, he is also serving as Representative of his university and a member of OCLC Committee at AMICAL Consortium. Farrukh is Life member of Pakistan Library Association which is the national body of Librarians in Pakistan.
