Chatham Ewing

Chatham Ewing is the Digital Library Strategist at Cleveland Public Library, supervising the digitization, preservation/conservation, and ILL teams. Alternating between analog and digital librarianship, he has worked in roles ranging from intern to curator to administrator at institutions including New York Public Library, NYU, Washington University in St. Louis, The University of Mississippi, and the University of Illinois. Active at the national level, he has served on the editorial board of Rare Books and Manuscripts (RBM) and on the SAA standards committee and has also held leadership roles in numerous local and statewide library and archives organizations. He has an MLS from Rutgers and a PhD in English from the University of Missouri and has published and presented on a variety of topics including library practice, special collections, digitization, web-archives, and social networks.
