Anne Cooper Moore

Anne Cooper Moore has served as Dean of the J. Murrey Atkins Library at UNC Charlotte since June 2015. Previously, she served as Dean of Library Affairs at Southern Illinois University (SIU) Carbondale from 2012-2015 and as Dean of Libraries at the University of South Dakota (USD) in Vermillion from 2008-2012. She also worked in libraries at the University of Massachusetts Amherst, George Mason University, New Mexico State University, and the University of Arizona. Anne serves on the UNC System University Library Advisory Council and served on the board of the Association of Southeastern Research Libraries for several years. In ALA she serves on the CORE Board and in the Leadership Section, was a past president of LLAMA, and has been a long-time member of RUSA, ACRL, and NMRT. Anne holds a PhD in Educational Management and Development from New Mexico State University, an MSLIS from the UNC-Chapel Hill, and a BA from Duke University.
