Getting practical techniques for processing MARC (and MARC-adjacent) record data for updates into OCLC

This workshop will explore a range of techniques to handle record editing, from using fully developed solutions like MarcEdit to exploring toolkits that might be available to you.

Using OCLC's Metadata API and a handful of other services, libraries can develop a variety of workflows to automatically enhance or support one-off, batch projects. This workshop will explore a range of techniques to handle record editing, from using fully developed solutions like MarcEdit to exploring toolkits that might be available to you. Please bring your real problems so we can brainstorm and develop solutions as a group.
