Batchload

OCLC’s Batchload Services have transitioned to WorldShare Collection Manager. Batchload projects are now managed by creating or updating WorldCat data sync collections in Collection Manager. This change provides your institution with a number of additional capabilities as part of your OCLC Cataloging and Metadata Subscription, including

  • the ability to ingest all Unicode characters,
  • the ability to submit larger files,
  • a new option to manage “unresolved” records in WorldCat,
  • enhanced activity reports and detailed error reports, and
  • more record output formats and customization options.

If you have any questions regarding this transition please contact us directly.
