OCLC’s Batchload Services have transitioned to WorldShare Collection Manager. Batchload projects are now managed by creating or updating WorldCat data sync collections in Collection Manager. This change provides your institution with a number of additional capabilities as part of your OCLC Cataloging and Metadata Subscription, including

  • a streamlined platform for managing collections and faster synchronization of library holdings;
  • the ability to submit larger files of bibliographic and LHR data; and
  • more record output formats including Unicode UTF-8, MARCXML, Dublin Core and MODS .

If you have any questions regarding this transition please contact us.
