The Asia Pacific Regional Council Meeting takes place in the vibrant city of Hong Kong, at the Harbour Grand Hotel, 23 Oil Street, North Point, Hong Kong.
The Harbour Grand Hotel is easily accessible and within walking distance of the metro station MTR Fortress Hill Station (Exit A). There is also a range of other hotels nearby.
Whilst the main language of the conference is English, simultaneous translation into Mandarin Chinese will be provided for all of the keynote sessions.
Photographers and videographers will be present at the event. Please note that images may be taken and used for the OCLC website, social media, and other non-commercial publicity purposes. If you refuse to be photographed, please let us know.
The conference dinner will be taking place in the Harbour Grand Hotel, at the same location as the Meeting.
There is a range of hotels nearby the venue. Please take care to make your reservation on time. We would advise that you do your own research to ensure that all accommodation requirements are met.
The Asia Pacific Regional Council delegates will stay at the Harbour Grand Hotel.

Letters of Invitation, Passports and Visas
Visa requirements depend on nationality, but all foreign visitors are required to hold a valid passport.
The tourism website will help you identify if you require a visa or not.
Participants requiring a letter of invitation in order to attend the Meeting are requested to ensure that they tick the box on the registration form. A letter will be sent to you and this must be submitted to the relevant Embassy together with a copy of the registration confirmation. However, if this document is not suitable, please contact us with the additional details to be added.
Please note that this procedure aims to assist participants who need to obtain a visa or permission to attend the Meeting. It is not an official invitation covering fees and other expenses, nor does it imply any financial support from the Asia Pacific Regional Council.
Please make arrangements for your visa as soon as possible. The procedure may take longer than expected for various reasons.
