Description

Many organizations are utilizing data visualization tools, like Tableau, to provide dynamic, meaningful, and actionable metrics to key stakeholders. This webinar will highlight examples of works in progress from Ohio State University and Yale University Library. We’ll discuss a wide variety of projects that highlight the use of data visualization. We’ll touch on many of the important principles we’ve learned about data analysis and visualization, including some of the pitfalls involved in the process.

Presenters:

  • Sarah Murphy, Coordinator of Assessment, The Ohio State University Libraries
  • Sarah Tudesco, Assessment Librarian, Yale University Library

This webinar will be of interest to the Open Data Community, and all those who are struggling with issues of data preservation and presentation in the cultural heritage sector, from small institutions to larger ones.

Works in Progress: An OCLC Research Occasional Webinar Series
These webinars are exclusively for OCLC Research Library Partners, but the recordings are publicly available to all.

What are we working on? What are you working on? OCLC Research Library Partners are invited to participate in Works in Progress: An OCLC Research Occasional Webinar Series to talk about work happening in OCLC Research – we'd like to present our work informally and get feedback from you, our Partners. We'd also like this to be a venue for Partner institutions. What are you working on that everyone should know about? What input would help you move forward? Let us know!
