Libraries ignore the ubiquitous nature of mobile technology in today’s society at their peril. Mobile devices enable people to access information instantly from wherever they happen to be at that moment in time. Experts predict the mobile internet market will be double the desktop market in five years time, so it is crucial for libraries to rise to the challenge making their services available at the user’s point of need.
