About Privacy Settings

You control how much of your profile is visible to other users.

  • Just your e-mail address [default is Viewable Only by Me (Private)]
  • Your entire profile

Change settings

To change privacy settings for your e-mail address or your entire profile:

Log in to your account

In the Menu Bar, select the down arrow to the right of the My WorldCat link, then choose Privacy Settings.

Result: The Privacy Settings screen appears.
3 If you want to:
  • Hide/show your e-mail address: Select the down arrow to the right of the E-mail Address: field, then choose the appropriate setting.
  • Hide/show your entire profile: Check or uncheck the Or, hide my entire profile? check box.

Select the Save Changes button.

Result: Your My Profile screen appears, with a confirmation message at the top.
