About Groups

Introduction

A group catalog allows you to locate items in multiple library catalogs via a single search. Your group may be based on geographic region, library type, academic discipline, or business interest. A group member may itself be a smaller, localized group. The largest, overriding group is called the primary group; the primary group always appears immediately after the Libraries Worldwide (WorldCat) option in the drop-down list.

Remaining or secondary groups are listed following the primary group.
